Choose from the membership options below to become a member of MAE. We’re excited to have you as a part of this movement! The regular membership year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31. However, early member registration has some special perks. Talk to your UniServ Director for details.

I am a public school teacher, support staffer, or other employee.

You probably already know this, but we here at MAE believe in uplifting every employee who works to uplift Mississippi's public school students. That includes bus drivers, cafeteria workers, as well as teachers with multiple degrees. Why? Because we know that when we all work together, our power grows. We are the most powerful voice for public education in Mississippi. We want you on our team.

I am an aspiring educator

You can join the MAE-SP for just $21 per year in addition to local chapter dues. If you don't want to join online, you can download a paper form, fill it out and mail it in to the office along with your check.

I am a retired educator

Please click on the link above. Just because you’ve left the classroom, it doesn’t mean your education expertise, experience, and enthusiasm isn’t still needed to enhance Mississippi’s public school community. You can join and continue to enjoy the camaraderie and benefits MAE offers. And, also offer your sage advice,
