GOFUNDME available to help Jackson educators

We are pleased to report that our friends at NEA have set up a GOFUNDME account to aid Jackson teachers and local educators who are directly affected by the current Jackson safe water crisis. Please consider contributing to this fund, every dime of which will go to help our fellow educators. The NEA is graciously absorbing any costs associated with the fund.

Please share this opportunity to help Jackson educators and school staff who have been adversely affected by the Jackson Water Crisis. Our friends at NEA created this fund and are absorbing all costs of the project. That means that every dime raised will go toward supporting our colleagues who have had to bear the expense of a failed municipal water system. We should note that Byram has also been affected by the crisis.

We are grateful to everyone who has pitched in to help, and we thank you in advance for your generosity.

As we have noted previously, if your local is faced with an issue that MAE can help correct, please let us know. We are proud that our efforts for Jackson have yielded a greater level of communication among those who are charged with making decisions to make Jackson's water safe for our students, teachers, and school support staff.
